There must be some hint on a emulation address...

Can you check if you have these settings in Dependency Walker when you profile the setup.exe? If not, could you select these and profile the setup.exe again? (until the message about the non supported OS pops up) Thanks!

Dependency Walker settings:

Do you still have this OCW,KDW Kernel combination in one row? Please profile without any wrappers (no KDW,no OCW). Than it should work. Start Dependency Walker, open setup.exe -> Profile -> start profiling with the settings from the picture.

Sorry for the struggle, but there are a lot of Wrapper files listed in the DWI. To find out the emulation address i need to have a clean profile of setup.exe.

It says: "1670: Unable to load module e:\blur\ISSETUP.dll, Error Code:998"
If I uncheck the fiveth box, the setup initialize, but my OS still not supported :?

Setup create temp files into the temp folder, but it delete these, if I press OK after OS error. These files a setup.exe, pictures from the game and some dll.

Hi,

okay, one last try. Please then uncheck the fifth box, let the setup initialize in Dependency Walker (don't press OK after the OS error) and save the DWI. No wrappers this time, just the regular installation.

Hello, are you still there? Could you do a last profile run like described in my former post? Going to store the dwi so that we can take a look later on. Maybe we can fix the issue.

After long-long time I solved this problem, and the game wa installed successfully.

The solution is similar to call of duty 4:
This game is powered by cod4 engineengine.

1.Insert Blur disc
2.Open commander.exe
3. write the following line:
msiexec /a "e:\Activision(R).msi /qb TARGETDIR="c:\blur

Press enter, and the files are extracted to c:\blur folder, passing OS checker and other lockers.

4.Coppy missing files and run the game.

Thank you for the Call of duty 4 post
