Part 2. Advanced error detection with Profile Mode:
Sometimes we need a more detailed log,if no errors are visible or if the fix is installed. This detailed log is done with profiling the application or game once or after fixing with the mentioned fixes. Its basically the same opening procedure like described above but now its "profiled".Its done as described in the following
Picture Guide:

1. after you opened the exe or dll go to "Profile" and start Profiling with the following settings below

2. select options as shown

Now finaly Press OK and the application or game loads up.Afterwards when done, save to *.dwi as usual and upload it onto click: Sendspace hoster. After the upload copy & paste the download link and delete link into your Windows Notepad Editor and save it as text file so you can delete the upload file at some later time. Then post the download link in the forum.

Info: Not a valid Windows 32 bit application error

"is not a valid Win32 application"
"ERROR_BAD_EXE_FORMAT; 193 (0xC1). %1 is not a valid Win32 application"

Hi,

forgot to add a important information about how to fix the "Error 193: %1 is not a valid Win32 application" error for example when trying to profile executables in Dependency Walker or running the program.

This error can be solved by opening the executable with PE Tools and setting the MinorSubsystem Version to 0000 instead of 0001 and MajorSubSystem Version to 0005.

Click here: PE Tools usage/download location
