For testing, please start the client inside folder not by the desktop/start shortcut. If that works, you only need to add new shortcuts to the desktop (right click client.exe -> add shortcuts to the desktop).

I even tried installing the client into the same directory as the server. Same error on the client but the server runs fine.

Im not sure what your saying here... If its run it from the main icon and not a short cut I have tried that as well.

Okay,it seems you are correct here.Everything looks fine.Could be a conflict by double addressing this API.Will need to speak to OldCigarette about it.Sorry for the trouble so far. Please be patient.I might be able to catch up with him tonight though.

PS: In the meantime you could try KDW Wrapper Kernel instead for the client. The download location can be found in the Tools & Info section.

It works the same way.Just download the latest KDW version and rename the Kernel32_ORG.dll in the Client folder to Kernel2k.dll and overwrite OldCigarettes Kernel32.dll with the KDW Kernel32.dll.KDW does not need any registry entries so you should be able to start the Client with the KDW Kernel *mekeepsfingerscrossed*.

Will try that a bit later. I dont understand why it would work fine for the server but not the client.

Since the main fix works fine for the Client (no other missing exports visible) it could be a specific GetVolumePathNamesForVolumeNameW function problem by double addressing it.Thats the first time we had such a conflict but it shouldn't be that hard to get it fixed.

Alright, i just saw it in your screenshot some post above that all was set up fine. You did a good job btw

Damn, i can't profile the client because of a 0xc0000005 initialization error so we have to do some advanced profiling work now. Please follow this guide and do the steps including Part 2. the advanced profiling part and upload the DWI to sendspace. If you have problems or questions just shoot your questions.

Info: Dependencywalker logs (= dwi file)
