Yes the server is open when I am trying the client, however I have closed the server and still had the same issue.

Please shut down the server.Then move all the fix files from the Server to the Client directory and try again.

Hi,

i am sorry to tell you that i couldn't figure out the reason for this error and behaviour.Since the Client version before,tested by Arkan, has been working fine with the fix i suggest you to post about this problem in the TeamSpeak forum to help improving the program.Anyway,don't hang up yet.I will also discuss this problem with OldCigarette when he shows up.

Making TS3 runs under Windows 2000

From the Dependency Walker log: "Second chance exception 0xC0000139 (DLL Not Found) occurred in "NTDLL.DLL" at address 0x77FAC57C by thread 1" this error really seems to be odd and makes no sense at all to me since no missing export is thrown out for ntdll.dll.

I'm pretty sure it has to do with the beta release.The client info of the version you send in dates 31.12.2009 so its a later beta version.Arkan confirmed that Client 3.0.0-beta2 works with the fix so i recommend to stick to the former working beta release or wait for the first stable version.

Hey guys.
Just to inform you that I tested the current Client 32-bit 3.0.0-beta12 version of the TS3 client and it seems to be working fine with my fix.

Thanks for letting us now.One issue you may want to check for us.Please set up the server and let it running and also fix the client.If both works simultaniously without problems we can be sure they got it fixed.

Part II)
I found a post about more files needed to get the Client working.Also here they mention about some Visual Studio 2008 files msvcr90.dll and msvcp90.dll which are required.

Tested again with TeamSpeak3-Client-win32-3.0.0-beta15 and the same fix is still working.

In the link you mentionned I can tell from the screenshot that he didn't include psapi.dll in the TS3 directory and he didn't bother to actually follow the link to these forums. I'm going to respond to him and update my post to mention compatibility with the most recent beta.

Why are the people not posting here in the forum :roll: ???
TS3 Forum: Making TS3 runs under Windows 2000

@RavLau:
but unfortunately I can not download the file "psapi.dll". Can give me the one?

Just follow the link after you clicked the psapi.dll and dbghelp.dll.

@piggdiggler
You can find all of your questions covered in the Quick-Installguide OldCigarette's 2000 XP API Wrapper and you can find all download locations for XP files when you click the psapi.dll and dbghelp.dll in Arkans TS3 fix post.

"Same folder" meaning server install directory?

The fix (mentioned files) needs to be copied to the main install directory of the sever and client.This is needed to get the server and client working since they use different installation directories and the fix must be applied to both of them.

Teamspeak 3 Server and Windows 2000

@wics2
Make sure you have applied the latest HeapQueryInformation hotfixes mentioned here in the forum or install the update rollup 1.Also check that you copied the fix to the correct locations (binaries directory).
click here: HeapSetInformation and HeapQueryInformation hotfixes

Its actually interesting that Windows 2000 is (-now-) mentioned as minimum system requirement for TS3 :shock:
TS3 minimum System requirements

Did someone ever tried the latest beta20 without the Wrapper :?:
