Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII

PostPosted by Falcon » Sat Sep 11, 2010 2:53 pm

The game itself start without any problems but once I have entered the main menu there is no sound at all. During the gameplay there isn't any sound either. When I exit the game it says it couldn't find "MSVCR80D.dll" Help please?

:wink: No problem.But somehow still something got mixed up and it seems you uploaded the same DWI from the first session.Now: Open the game exe in Dependency Walker -> Profile -> start Profiling -> select the options shown in the guide -> START -> let it run and save DWI when its finished or manually STOP the profiling -> upload the DWI.

Hello,also the sequel requires the x3daudio driver.Here's the backporting fix:
Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WW2 Retail

Now we look at the library issue...

The missing library belongs to the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 package.Download the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 SP1 from here and report if the problem still exists:
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)

Problem: When I try to install MS Redistributable it says it couldn't install the program. This might be because windows is running i save mode. :( What now?

Hmmmm, you could try the following two things:

1) install the previous red package and then install the SP1 on top
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86)

2) extract the SP1 package with Uniextract and copy the libraries to the system32 root directory manually.

...also if the installation succeeds, you should install the
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package ATL Security Update

Hope it works.Let me know.
