Donations for Windows 2000 Gaming Website

PostPosted by justjohnny » Wed Dec 22, 2010 10:15 am

The Windows 2000 Gaming website is currently hosted on free web hosting:
http://www.site90.com/
Welcome to the free web hosting provider http://www.000webhost.com
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We use subdomains under domain SITE90.COM to setup free web hosting accounts for our clients. Each subdomain *.SITE90.COM is managed by different customer.

Lately and for quite a long time now the speed of the site has slowed right down. Also it will produce SQL errors as well as time out loading the site. Just now it logged me out while I was composing a reply.

Can a donation drive be organised to raise some money to buy a domain name such as:
windows2000gaming.com
as well as paid hosting?

Paid hosting should allow features that BetaArchive offer such as an image hosting service as well as file hosting service.

There is no need of money at all.

I suggested dhost.info time ago, that, right now (not in the past) is quite reliable. I have a forum hosted there which has a good amount of pageloads and, sometimes, it's down, not very often (as it happened in the past), but when is up, what is almost all the time, the speed is quite good at any time, not as with site90, that at some hours it's just impossible to enter, and forget to mention weekends...

For a domain, cjb.net is enough.

I'd like to see a file hosting service as sendspace is unreliable.

Files I uploaded:
viewtopic.php?p=2519#p2519
just over 1 month ago are no longer available:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/i68bzb
Sorry, the file you requested is not available.

This file has been deleted. Please contact the uploader and ask them to upload the file again. sendspace is not able to help you in this matter.

I've been using Megaupload since a couple of years and does work good enough. They haven't deleted any of my files, even when they tell that, for non premium accounts, the files are deleted in 90 days.
