Hi,

welcome to the Win2kgaming forum. What motherboard do you have? Are you running Win2k inside a VM? Because you mentioned 'win2k box'.

Service Pack 4 is required for USB 2.0 support.

My mother board is Gigabyte, and i am running Win2k directly in my PC, (and not virtual machine).
my usb removable disks works but not at full speed and it is very slow, also i tried "VIA USB 2.0 Host Controller Driver"
and "NEC usb software update released on June 01 2001." from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/319973 but my problem not solved yet.

What transfer rates do you get now when moving files to and from the removable disks?

It looks like Intel 5/6 Chipset Problem.

When we use intel 5/6 chipset, At first we must install USB1.0 driver.
