Gday 2000gamer,

If you can please supply Dependency Walker log files, both:
* Simple error detection without Profile Mode
* Advanced error detection with Profile Mode

The Dependency Walker guide can be found here:
topic122.html
Unfortunately since the forum move the pictures have disappeared. If you get stuck ask, and someone might be able to post some relevant screenshots. Dependency Walker v2.2(depends22_x86.zip) works on Windows 2000 without any problems.

Gday 2000gamer,

You will need to use Dependency Walker to profile the Formula 1 2010 .exe file. Generally you will find it in either one of 2 locations:
  • C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\<gamename>\<gamefile.exe>
  • C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\<yoursteamusername>\<gamename>\<gamefile.exe>

Then post links to both Dependency Walker files in this thread.

delete the following files in the windows system32 root directory:
d3d10.dll
d3dx10.dll
d3dx10_33.dll
d3dx10d.dll
d3dx10d_33.dll
dxgi.dll
Nucleus.dll

Thank you.

I have other problem: I remove the english windows, and install the hungarian version, which not have blackwingcat's extended kernel.

I try to use Old Cigarettes wrapper, but I get an entry point error message of kernel32_ORG.dll.

It is possible to use Old Cigarettes wrapper without extended kernel?

I haven't got steam, I use razor version and there is one executable file.

what is problem

Hello,

thats the problem when running the extended kernel together with OCW. I don't recommend it. Either stick to the Wrapper packs (KDW and OCW) or use the extended Kernel from BlackWingCat alone. Please re-install the game (delete all other added files!) and only copy these files to the binaries directory which are described in the Formula 1 2010 (STEAM) * fix. Post the exact error when running the game.

Try out the following shortened fix:
Missing Exports:
IMAGEHLP.DLL - SymFromAddr
XINPUT1_3.DLL
Dbghelp.dll - SymFromAddr (IMAGEHLP.DLL)

Note:
Follow this guide on how to exclude IMAGEHLP.DLL from KnownDLLs session list (works the same way like the "Regsitry-Fix: ExcludeImagehlpFromKnownDlls"
Win2kgaming: Advanced Fix Guide

Hello.

It not enought only this files
I remove all additional files and copy only these:

-kernel32
-advapi32
-ws2_32
-xlive
-xinput1_3
-dbghelp
-iphlpapi
-msidcrl40
-imagehlp

but it still don't work.
It seems the cracked version don't work, but I haven't steam version.

Do it need win2k_xp_kernel32.ini OCW version faking or am I to install the total x3d audio?

You need to exclude imagehlp.dll from the KnownDLL list. Please read the Advanced Fixing guide i linked above. Please also download Dependency Walker (x86) v2.2

-> click: "Download Version 2.2.6000 for x86 (Windows 95 / 98 / Me / NT / 2000 / XP / 2003 / Vista / 7 / 8 ) [610k]"
http://www.dependencywalker.com/

Open the main executable in Dependency Walker then "Profile" -> "start profiling" and let the game start until it crashes or the error comes up. Then save the DWI LOG (File->save as *.DWI and attach this DWI log here in a post. I will take a look at it.

No problem. Glad the game works now. Did you add any additional libraries apart from those which are mentioned in the Formula 1 2010 (STEAM) * fix?

No, I use only these dll files and install cod4' s directx update.

(I couldn't install f1's dx because it says "DXSETUP.exe nem win32 alkalmazás" (.exe is not vailed win32 application), but cod4's dx works fine :)
